Brady BMP21-PLUS ReviewLabel makers aren’t just for home or office use. They have industrial applications as well, and the Brady BMP21-PLUS is the kind of sturdy, well-made product you’ll feel confident taking into the field. It couldn’t be simpler to use: Just add a label cartridge, type and print. But with 8-10 year outdoor durability and a guarantee that each unit’s been tested to withstand shock and vibration, it has the kind of high-quality construction you can depend on. The device has a comfortable handheld design and includes over 100 built-in symbols, and is compatible with 70 different label types and eight forms of material, including self-laminating wire markers and outdoor vinyl.
Epson LabelWorks LW-400 Label MakerThe Epson LabelWorks LW-400 Label Maker is designed for the non-traditional, edgier printing and has a wide variety of 14 fonts, 10 styles, over 300 built in symbols and 75 frames, bar codes and many more interesting features. It uses AA Polaroid batteries for enhanced performance and has a memory storage capacity of up to 50 files. It also has backlight display that enables you to type and print labels even in poor lighting conditions.
Rollo Label PrinterIdeal for small businesses, the Rollo label printer has a solid but portable design and it does not compromise on performance either. It produces high-quality labels that are not restricted by length.
Dymo LabelWriter 450 TurboDymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo is an attractive cost effective product that can create and print large volumes of up to 71 labels per minute directly from text in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Contacts. Brother P-Touch PT-D210 ReviewThe Brother PT-D210 Label Maker includes a lot of great functionality without the high price tag. You can create your own custom label or choose from a pre-designed template. Access more than 14 fonts, 97 frames, 600 symbols, and 27 templates from the one-touch keys. You can store up to 30 of your personalized labels for easier access in the future. You can even print pattern designs such as flowers and polka dots to create decorative labels. The preview window shows what your label will look like, so you print the label exactly as you want it.
LabelWriter 450 ReviewLabelWriter 450 is the most popular of Dymo’s label writing range and the deserved market leader in its sector. It is an entry level printer designed primarily for printing address labels, though it can be used for barcodes, name badges, appointment cards and filing labels. The 600x300 dpi graphics is an improvement over the previous model, so the lettering is clear and legible even when printing in very small text, and the 51 labels per minute print speed is plenty fast enough for most users.
DYMO LabelManager 160 ReviewThis little label maker is very easy to use. It's small and relatively light, and has a QWERTY keyboard. The font size and formatting keys are right at the top, making it simple to quickly bold or italicize your text, or change the font size. It's also extremely reasonably priced. The only reason it scored lower than the Brother P-Touch was that its smaller keyboard is very cramped, making it less comfortable for typing. Other than that, this is an excellent choice for a straightforward, no-bells-and-whistles label maker.
Dymo LabelManager 420P ReviewThe Dymo LabelManager 420P’s backlit display surpassed every other model we tested in viewing and navigating the printer’s interface, which allows for the quick creation and printing of labels. We like that it has a rechargeable battery, so you’ll never have to rush to the store or ransack all your remotes for a new set of batteries; just plug it in and wait a few minutes for it to build up a charge. Plus, the Dymo has a narrow keyboard that makes carrying it from room to room or typing on it without a desk or table easy—a design that parents, office managers, and organizers of all stripes will appreciate.
