About this list

Ragu Z400This is an easily portable projector thanks to its small design. It is ideal for home theater use as its versatility allows it to use different kinds of media. The light beam is 1800 lumens and the bulb has a light life of 30,000 hours. It has amazing image quality and a noiseless cooling system. However, this projector does not have adequate brightness therefore it is not suitable for presentations. It also does not support computational documents or text formats, aside from that, it is a good option for the price.
Epson 2040When it comes to colour, contrast, setup and detail, you can count on the Epson 2040 to deliver. It is equipped with a 2200 lumens brightness output which makes coloured images three times brighter. It is also equipped with 3LCD technology, 3-chip optical engine and has a lamp life of 4000 hours. It's Image Enhancement and Frame Interpolation brings out clear and smooth images. The contrast ratio gives great detail moreso in dark scenes. The projector is compatible with a variety of video sources thanks to the VGA and dual HDMI inputs.
BenQ HT 2150STBenQ HT2150ST can project a 100-inch image from five feet away. It is a great pick for gaming due to its low lag time, amazing image quality and latency. It has a lamp life of 7000 hours and projects bright and sharp images thanks to its 2200 lumens which means it can be used in any lighting with minimal brightness and sharpness concerns. It has two HDMI inputs and very high quality 10W speakers. It weighs about 7.9 pounds which is convenient for travel. The only downside is that it has no lens shift and its 4K picture projection is of low quality.
Optoma HD142XThis projector is ideal for any room as it can fill a 66-inch screen from twelve feet away. It is very bright in ambient light with sharper and detailed projections. It has amazing 10 way speakers that are cool in high performance scenarios. It's lamp can go for 8,000 hours without replacement. The downside of the Optoma HD142X is that the settings menu does not allow you to do alot of customization and the onboard speaker lacks in bass. All in all, this is a good choice for an affordable home theater projector.
DBpower T20The DBpower T20 is a small and affordable unit that is suitable for a simple home theater experience. It has 1500 lumens which means it works best in dark rooms or at night. It comes with built in speakers that have decent sound quality and a heat dispersion cooling system which cools the device while minimizing the noise. Furthermore, the lens comes with a protective cover. This projector may not have the clearest, sharpest or brightest image quality but it certainly is a great pick for its price range.
Sony VPL-VW 260ESThis is Sony's most affordable 4K projector. It is easy to set up as the lens is fully motorised and it is controlled by a remote. It utilizes shutter technology to support 3D playback and has two HDMI inputs but only one supports 4K HDR sources. It is also ideal for gaming because of its fast response mode and its high zoom lens allows you to zoom without distorting the images. However, the black levels of this projector are not the best and it only gives you limited HDR and wide colour experiences. Despite being Sony's cheapest projector, it is still more expensive than other 4K projectors.
