About this list

Pioneer DDJ-SB2Turning tables has never been as easier and intuitive as with the Pioneer DDJ-SB2. It is a powerful and versatile DJ controller, which works with the Serato DJ software and other music software as well. It consists of 4 top rubber pads that trigger hot cue, auto loop, manual loop and sampler as well as 4 bottom ones to instantly play, cue, sync and shift. It comes with large, low-latency jog wheels that enable you to get great scratch response and accuracy. You can check and adjust the input volume on each channel quickly with the trim knob and level meters. It also features low/high pass filter dials.
Hercules DJ CompactA well built jog wheel, 4 LED-lit pads, 2 equalization potentiometers and a volume potentiometer are just some of the features the Hercules DJ Compact has on both decks. The simple design should not fool you as this machine does not sacrifice on performance. You easily have access to the Cue, Samples, Loop and FX modes thanks to the four pads. The base also includes ten fully functional buttons and a crossfader. It may lack Serato and DJay programs but it makes up for it with DJUCED 18 software.
Numark Party MixGet the party going with Numark's Party Mix ultra-portable controller that comes at an affordable price and loaded with features to help boost your performance. The 2-channel DJ controller was designed to work with Serato DJ. It's easy to set up and comes with an electrifying light show that has 3 LED light arrays which do more than fill the room, they also auto sync to your music. It incorporates outputs that let you plug in headphones as well as mixers and PA systems. Furthermore, the two channels are well equipped with a cross fader and jog wheels ensuring you have better control of your mixes.
Denon MC4000The Denon MC4000 is a controller that has maintained its position in the market thanks to its budget price, amazing design and features which include high quality faders, EQ ports and gains, hassle-free jog wheels and a 24-bit output to ensure incredible sound for an immersive experience. What's more, it is not limited to a specific software and works with pretty much anything. Lastly, each deck has four pads and it has a triple-bank FX.
Reloop Mixon 4With a 4-deck control, a four-channel audio interface, sixteen performance pads and a docking station, the Reloop Mixon 4 is a combined controller that is built for both Serato Pro Dj and Algoriddim Djay Pro. It is compatible and can mix with Mac, Android and PC. Moreover, it has djay 2 software with Spotify, however, you will need a premium subscription for this. Nonetheless, it is a rare controller with interesting features.
Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S8The Native Instruments give DJ controllers a new look by replacing jog wheels with touchstrips that allow you to scratch a track that has stopped and you can hold down the shift key to jump to any part of the song. The touchstrips act like Pitchbend controls when the track stops allowing you to do some beat-matching. However, you should keep in mind that you can only do basic beat-matching with this machine since it lacks pitch faders.
Denon MCX8000If a standalone controller is what you are looking for, then the Denon MCX8000 should be among your options considering the fact that it is cheaper than most standalone controllers. It has four decks and boasts of being the first DJ hardware/software controller since you can control Serato DJ from your computer or you can make use of the Denon DJ Engine software. Finally, it is equipped with a Stage LinQ Network connection for lighting and video.
